He holds a Master's degree in Multimedia, Photography, Graphic, and Animation from Apollo Computer Education Limited in Chennai, India, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application (BCA-IT) from Sree Ramu College of Arts & Science, Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu, India. Sangay's career highlights include directing the Bhutanese feature film "Dzi Bangchung Gang" (2023) and working on several high-profile projects, such as promotion videos for Royal Thimphu College and Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law, TV spots on climate change, and live event coverage for GCIT.
