What makes you different from other guides? Why should someone hire you?I started my career in 2007. In 2008, during Bhutan's transition to a constitutional democracy, I had the opportunity to participate in the election and was elected to serve in parliament for five years. This experience was a significant advantage for me as a professional guide, as it provided insights into various cultures from different valleys. Since then, I have led high-end groups for the Bhutan Canada Foundation and many other organizations, specializing in both cultural tours and trekking in Bhutan. I consider myself very adaptable, which I believe is a crucial leadership quality.
Other comments about your guiding service?The guiding profession is entirely different from other professions, which I find very interesting because it involves getting to know people from different cultures. We need to be careful and capable of handling various situations. Beyond our regular services, we must also provide additional care and attention as we would for our loved ones. Most importantly, we must be able to make prompt decisions when unexpected events occur.
